Through this project, the youth have been made key players in the prevention of crime/violence, and extremism through informal education is mainly conveyed through films, on-screen talks, and religious settings. Informal education tends to give them a platform in which they acquire knowledge and peace sensitivity.

Jenga lives community-based organization (JLC) formally registered as Phenomenal Young youth group on the 14th July 2020, before 2022 where we upgraded to a community-based organization.

Our Vision

Jenga Lives Community Based Organization envisions a Majengo, Nairobi where every youth and child is empowered, educated, and free from violence. We strive to create a safe space for talent development, promote gender equity, and provide unique mentorship programs that transform lives and uplift the entire community.

Our Mission

Our mission at Jenga Lives Community Based Organization is to empower and transform the lives of youth and children in the Majengo informal settlement in Nairobi, Kenya. Through our diverse programs in media, education, peace building, talent development, and mentorship, we provide a safe space for learning, creativity, and personal growth. Together, we are creating a community where every individual has the opportunity to thrive and fulfill their potential.
